Create a mailbox such as hello@example.com when you want a separate inbox, password and storage allowance for a person or team. Creating the mailbox does not move email away from another provider or update public DNS automatically.

Check access and requirements
Use the cPanel account for the correct hosting service. Confirm that the domain is added to that account, email hosting is included and its MX records are intended to deliver mail here. A mailbox allowance and the hosting account disk limit both apply.
01 Create and open your cPanel mailbox
- Open Email Accounts using cPanel search, then select Create. Choose the intended domain before entering the part of the address before the @ sign.
- Set a unique generated password and save it in a password manager. Give the mailbox a sensible storage allocation under the optional settings rather than assuming an unlimited setting overrides the hosting plan.
- Review the complete address and create the account. Open Connect Devices beside it to obtain the actual secure incoming and outgoing server settings.
- Use Check Email to open its webmail, then configure any phone or desktop client with the full email address as its username.
Test sending and receiving
Send one message to an external address and reply from that address. Check both the inbox and spam folder. This tests delivery in both directions, which a successful mailbox creation message alone cannot prove.
Why is the new mailbox missing, unable to sign in or not receiving mail?
If the domain is missing, check the selected hosting account. If mail never arrives, verify authoritative MX records and email routing before recreating the mailbox. A login failure needs the mailbox password, not the Nabtech account password.
