A SiteWorx mail filter can match part of a sender address or subject and apply the configured blocked-message action. Use a precise match to avoid catching unrelated customer mail.

Check access and requirements
Save an example message and decide whether the sender pattern or subject phrase is reliable. Review existing rules and the action shared by blocked messages before adding another filter.
01 Create a targeted SiteWorx email filter
- Open Administration > Mail Options > Filters.
- Inspect Action For Blocked Email. The documented IMAP Spam action deletes a blocked message if the Spam folder does not exist, so confirm mailbox folders before relying on it for recovery.
- Choose Add Filter and select the sender-containing or subject-containing rule type.
- Enter the smallest useful matching value and add the rule. Avoid a short common word or entire popular mail-provider domain when only one sender is the problem.
- Send controlled matching and nonmatching messages, then check the intended mailboxes and Spam folders. Keep a record of the rule and its reason.
Confirm the expected result
The matching message should receive the chosen treatment, while legitimate control messages still arrive. Include similar but valid subjects in testing to reveal an overly broad pattern.
Resolve setup problems
If expected mail disappears, disable or delete the specific filter and retest. Check SpamAssassin, mailbox quota and upstream filtering separately. Sender text can be forged, so this simple filter is not an authentication or malware-protection system.
Does a subject filter understand the meaning of a message?
No. It matches the configured text condition. A customer quoting a blocked phrase may match too, which is why a narrow rule and controlled tests matter.
